UPCYCLING: GREAT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT & GREAT FUN!

Most of my products feature at least one element of upcycling whether it's upcycled denim jeans and jackets handmade into interesting bags, pouches and aprons or upcycled fabrics, faux leather, beads, yarn, buttons, zips, belts, handbags, laptop cases, even curtains... all kinds of things (fully laundered and cleaned before use, of course)!

My upcycled products keep things out of landfill by reusing them in completely different ways from the original purpose. It's so relaxing and mindful to unpick jeans seams, remove pockets, zips, jacron patches, etc and work out how to use pieces in a creative way bringing in additional items like extra brass rivets, metal jeans buttons and so on.

Of course some elements have to be brand new - like some of the bag handles and apron ties along with any padding used in the bags. I also use fabrics which I already have in my stash such as stunning Kaffe Fassett 100% cotton fat quarters and interesting Rose & Hubble 100% cotton poplin.
